The Pathways Board Members
Geeta Nanda, Chair
Geeta was a long-serving Chief Executive with over 35 years’ experience in the property sector, including housing associations, the private rental sector and the associated policy development arena. She was the Chief Executive of Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing Association (MTVH) for over 16 years, where she substantially grew the organisation through merger, building new homes and large-scale regeneration. MTVH is one of the largest providers of shared ownership in the country. She was previously a Non-Executive Director of McCarthy Stone plc, a developer and manager of retirement communities, Chair of PRS REIT Plc and also the former Chair of G15, the group representing London’s largest housing associations as well as a Board member of the NHF and the Mayor’s housing Board.
In 2013 Geeta was given an OBE for her services to social housing. Geeta now holds a number of non-executive directorships including Barratt Redrow where she Chairs their sustainability committee and Crisis, the homelessness charity, where she is Vice Chair and she is also part of the national advisory panel for Homewards, the Royal Foundations programme to demonstrate it is possible to end homelessness.
David Montague
David served as the Chief Executive of L&Q, one of Britain’s largest housing associations between 2008 and 2021. Over thirty-two years David oversaw the company’s growth and success through mergers, acquisitions, major regeneration schemes and development partnerships with smaller associations. A leading figure in the sector, David has been Chair of the G15 and served on the Board of the National Housing Federation, as well as working with successive London Mayors.
In 2013 David was awarded a CBE for services to housing in London. He now holds a number of non-executive and advisory roles for housing and finance organisations.
Andrew Cowan
Andrew was previously senior partner at Devonshires, a law firm which specialises in Social Housing, where he specialised and led its Banking, Governance and Corporate team. His work in the social housing sector spans over 35 years. Andrew was ranked as a Senior Statesperson in the 2026 Chambers UK directory for Social Housing. He is also recognised in the Hall of Fame for Social Housing in the 2026 Legal 500 directory. Andrew received the National Housing Federation Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Jane Porter
Jane is a Housing Consultant and an experienced Non-Executive Director. She recently retired as Chief Operating Officer at Southern Housing. Throughout her career, she has held senior executive roles in housing management, asset management, development and home ownership. Jane has been a member of a number of Government and RSH steering groups and sounding boards, influencing fire safety guidance and TSM. She is passionate about delivering excellent customer services and is an advocate of resident engagement ensuring the ‘lived voice’ is influencing at every table. Jane is the Pathways board member responsible for Complaints.
Craig Luttman
Craig is Lloyds Living’s Chief Strategy Officer and responsible for our Pathways (Shared Ownership) and ESG ambitions, as well as overseeing the Customer & Marketing team. Craig also leads on the wider Lloyds Banking Group’s Housing Strategy and Initiatives, most recently supporting the formation of the Shared Ownership Council and working cross-industry in response to the Lloyds & Crisis call for 1m new social and affordable homes.
He has 27 years of housing and development experience and joined Lloyds Living in 2021 from L&Q, where he was the Deputy Group Director for Development & Sales. In his 14 years at L&Q, Craig was responsible for growing the Development pipeline to 100,000 homes, which included the acquisition of Gallagher Estates (one of the UK’s largest strategic land businesses) and Barking Riverside (a 10,000 home Joint Venture with the GLA). Craig is a member of the RICS and the Association of Project Managers.
Alex Bailes
Alex joined Lloyds Living in November 2025 and is responsible for our technology platform, including our change management capability, data platform, process engineering, and our operating platform.
Prior to joining Lloyds Living, Alex was most recently CTO at Brockton Everlast for over 6 years, a London based Commercial Real Estate Investment Manager with a remit across all aspects of technology within the operating business, it’s portfolio companies and the operational assets. Previously, Alex headed up technology in the UK for CBRE, and was also responsible for Product Engineering across EMEA. Prior to CBRE, Alex was Chief Digital Officer at Countrywide plc, having exited his residential conveyancing PropTech startup to the business in 2006. Alex holds a degree in Computer Science from Nottingham University and sits on the boards of Housemark and Cifas as a non-executive director.
