Lloyds Living agree deal for 294 new homes in Yorkshire

Lloyds Living and strategic partner Keepmoat have agreed a deal for 294 family homes in Yorkshire, taking Lloyds Living’s total portfolio of homes to more than 7,600.

This latest milestone in the partnership between Lloyds Living and top 10 housebuilder Keepmoat will deliver 294 high-quality single-family homes to the private rental sector across four sites in Yorkshire.  The developments in Hungerhill, Firbeck, South Elmsall and Upton represent a significant expansion of Lloyds Living’s footprint in the region and a continued commitment to delivering sustainable, family-focused housing.

More Energy Efficient Family Homes

This latest deal shows both Lloyds Living and Keepmoat’s commitment to delivering multi-tenure homes, based on local housing needs and underpinning the delivery of sustainable communities.

This portfolio deal features a mix of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes, thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of modern renters. More than 200 homes will be delivered as all-electric specification, meaning the homes are futureproofed as we move to zero carbon ready living. The homes will have NextGeneration Bronze level certification, a nationally recognised sustainability benchmark for housing developments, emphasising the importance of sustainability to both Lloyds Living and Keepmoat.

Matt Burgess, CEO of Lloyds Living, said:

“This new deal represents two fundamental parts of what we do: working with great partners, like Keepmoat, and delivering high quality single-family homes to the rental market in the places they are needed.

“These new homes offer high specification accommodation that meets some of the highest modern building standards; they don’t just increase the availability of rental homes, they improve the quality of it, and the quality of life for our customers.”

Strategically located to offer excellent access to local amenities, schools, and transport links, the new homes will be ideal for families and professionals seeking a balance of comfort, connectivity, and environmental responsibility.

Ian Hoad, CEO at Keepmoat added:

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Lloyds Living on this exciting portfolio, which reflects our shared commitment to creating sustainable, future-proofed communities. At Keepmoat, collaboration with partners is central to our delivery of high-quality, energy-efficient homes.

“Through this partnership, and by achieving NextGeneration Bronze accreditation across all four developments, we’re continuing to drive innovation in sustainable construction and help shape thriving, inclusive neighbourhoods that stand the test of time.”

The homes will be managed by Lloyds Living Property Management (LLPM) with the first completions expected in October 2025.
